Acer has expanded its eMachines stable with the launch of its new range of netbookscalled eM350. Weighing 1.25 Kg, the netbook boasts of 1 GB RAM and 250 GB hard drive. Claimed to be one of the lightest 10.1 inch netbook in its class, it is less than 1 inch in thickness. On operating system front, eM350 packs Win7 Starter edition. The netbook offers Intel Atom processor and second-gen N450 single-core CPU. The netbook's keyboard size is 93% of the regular netbook and there's a special touchpad to make data input easy.
eM350 series netbooks come bundled with a free MTS MBlaze High Speed Data Services. On purchase of eM350 netbook priced at Rs 12,999, customers will receive a cash back of Rs 2,000 which will be sent to them within a fortnight of the MTS Mblaze activation. The offer is valid till end of January.
Rajendran, Chief Marketing Officer, Acer India, said, "Acer assures that this cash back scheme is the first in the year long series of offers lined up to enthrall our customers. With an increase in internet penetration, this offer will be rolled out in phases.
